Before starting this blog, I would like to wish everyone a very prosperous year ahead. I know I’m little late, but it’s not like I forgot to wish. I just wanted to prolong the celebration of the new year till I start this brand new site prowebprogrammer.com.
Another tech blog? Sadly yes. Some of you may already know I have a blog called umamaheswaran.com in which I was writing technical blogs. In the last few months I have realized that writing tech blogs on a site with your name is not a clever idea unless you are prominent figure in the software industry.
The blog had diverse topics, ranges from different technologies and it had no direction or a goal. It was more like a personal blog than a blog which will be useful for the programming community.
prowebprogrammer.com is created to serve the interest of programmers who have a passion towards web programming. With all these recent technologies like AI/Machine learning coming up I still believe that web programming has a bright future and it is here to stay.
Web is not just about pages anymore. Web technology itself is stepping up hugely. Service workers provides the offline ability and push notifications. Things like Web Audio API, Web Payments API makes the web much more dominant and the entry of web assembly adds hope for the future of web development.
The goal for this site to provide content on these emerging web technologies while trying to bridge the gap between different technologies with web.
Unlike my previous blog this blog is going to focus on the audience rather than myself. And that means I have a commitment to provide content on a regular basis.
